Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! - 19 December 2011

Well, this is the time of year we normally have a bit of a breather from our hectic work schedule but this time we are extremely busy with a few full restorations and plenty of servicing work. The ever increasing values of classic Ferraris has brought about a huge amount of restoration work. It is great to be able to keep these old cars on the road and in a condition that they deserve.

Restoring one of these classics is a very time consuming project if done properly and we pride ourselves on doing an impeccable and accurate job. For example, this brake calliper from a  275 GTB4 is completely stripped into its individual components, everything is then blasted and polished before re-plating to original specification and reassembling. It looks like a work of art just like it did when it was new and more importantly – it works as it should!

Sales have been good this year with many cars being pre sold before they even hit the website, the Classic and special Ferraris really do not show any signs of slowing down in price at the moment. We now tend to look for cars that we know, and can sell confident in the knowledge that they are correct, “no stories” examples. Two such cars are this Beautiful F40 and a Dino GT, history and provenance are everything nowadays and these have both got it in abundance (full details can be found at our website).
