| Description |
1972 Dino 246 GT. Bianco Polo Park with Black interior. This Dino is in beautiful condition and has an exceptional, comprehensive history with MOT’s going back to 1979 and ownership details going back to the original factory invoice.
It was first registered in August 1972 to a Mr W Bryce from Weybridge and then, on the copy of the original log book, it shows the car being transferred to a Mr Miles in November 1972. In 1976 it was sold to Durlington Cambden Ltd. and then Mr Franco De Sena from London, purchased it in 1984. In 1987 the current owner, who is well known in the Ferrari world, purchased the car from the world famous Ferrari collector Brandon Wang and has owned it for the last 24 years.
It is one of the nicest, most genuine Dinos we have seen for a very long time and feels like it has been looked after properly. In 1988 Nick Cartwright rebuilt the engine and in 1990 he completed a bare metal repaint in the original colour. Since the engine work the car has only covered some 3,500 miles as it has mostly been in dry storage but periodically serviced and kept in good order by ourselves. It has now only covered 36,499 miles from new.
It is great to see a car with the valuable original books, warranty card, tools, and even the yellow wheel chock. The dash is also the correct material and the interior is in excellent condition. The car drives like a Dino should and feels right, something that cannot be bought but only comes from years of care and attention by the right people. Available for viewing at our Northleach showroom. Personalised plate 9FRM can be included.
