1997 Ferrari 456 GTA. Rosso Corsa with Crema interior. This Cherished Class winner at the 2011 Ferrari owners club concourse is a truly stunning example of the 456. The condition of the car is nothing short of amazing. It has covered 20,000 miles from new with only 5 previous owners. The first owner a Dr Hollwood purchased the car and had it for 4 years, finally selling it in 2001 after only covering 8,000 miles. The 2nd owner then sold the car another 4 years later with a mileometer reading of only 10,500. The following 2 owners only had it a year each before it was sold to the penultimate owner, Mr J Wragg, still with only 12,600 miles on it. Finally the current owner has had the car since April 2010 and has covered 5,500 miles and has looked after the car with no expense spared. Recent work carried out in 2011 includes Cambelt renewal, rear shockabsorber overhaul, Automatic gearbox oil and filter change and radiator re-core.
The car is in exceptional condition and one of the finest 456s we have seen. It was also invited to appear on the Ferrari owners Club stand at the National Classic Car show, NEC, last November. Available for viewing by appointment, number plate not included.
